Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting

Field of activity

With its Regulatory Reporting Hub Deutsche Börse Group is a leading provider of Regulatory Services. We have received the status as Approved Reporting Mechanism and Authorised Publication Arrangement and have onboarded over 2,000 investment firms for MiFIR transaction reporting and post trade transparency. The section Regulatory Services & Data Applications is responsible for the functional design of our regulatory services systems. In a dynamic and competitive environment you work in a team to produce and maintain functional specifications for the fulfillment of new and existing regulatory requirements be it for Deutsche Börse Group companies or our customers. You accompany the complete process from requirements gathering and analysis, functional concept design, solution concept development with IT, documentation, test to product launch and further development of the product.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • functional requirements analysis for regulatory services (EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, Dodd-Frank, ...)
  • documentation of well-structured functional specifications
  • project management support
  • product documentation
  • preparation and execution of test cases and analysis of test results
  • follow-up regulation changes
  • continuous improvement and maintenance of existing product concepts

Qualifications/required skills:

  • excellent degree in computer science, business, economics, mathematics or an equivalent education
  • great analytical acumen and drive to acquire new skills and knowledge
  • good financial market knowledge, especially security markets
  • at least 2 years relevant work experience
  • proficiency in written and spoken English required, German considered a plus
  • experience with modern requirements management methods beneficial
  • experience with MiFIR, EMIR or similar regulations will be an asset
